This one was created at the year of 1989 as a local publication linked to UFF's Department of Psychology. After almost 20 years of publication, the Editorial Council considered that its name did not suit the profile of the journal, which had conquered an important space in the Psychology's national scene. Because of that, at the year of 2008, the Journal of Psychology Department - UFF was renamed to Fractal: Journal of Psychology. The reader can check the history of this change at the editorial of the Journal 20 (1).
