Subjectivity and objectivity: city, space and work

The paper discusses the relationship between the subjectivity and the space occuppied, as it is historically and socially appreciated. For the purpose of the analysis the "city" is the chosen object of our present study. Besides discussing alterity, by checking the changes in that relationship, this paper tries to point out how space creates and consolidates human identities and the centrality of work in the actual urban arrangements. It´s really important to think about the relationship between space/subjectivity. Through a transdisciplinary point-of- view, the aim of the present article is to discuss the issue of segregation and its subjective impact.
