Keywords:
conflicts, Michel Foucault, imperfect peace, powerAbstract
This article discuss the concept of power in the imperfect peace and in the work of Foucault. The main goal is demonstrate that Foucault’s idea of power is not distant from the notion of power in the imperfect peace proposed by Muñoz. Therefore, this paper begins with the idea of peace from UNESCO and the sociopolitical context that encouraged the creation of this concept. Afterwards, presents the characteristics of the imperfect peace and how the idea of power is inserted in this proposition and in the work of Foucault. Finally, it’s presented three similarities and/or proximities between both orientations that confirm its closeness.Downloads
