About the Journal

_{GEOgraphia Journal is a publication of the Graduate Program in Geography of the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) that aims to disseminate knowledge about current debates – classical and contemporary – with scope on Geography and related areas. The Journal was founded together with the Graduate Program in Geography from UFF, and its first issue was published in June 1999. This issue presented an overview of the teaching staff production of the recently created Master's course. The printed version was published until n. 19, in July 2008, and was followed by an exclusively in electronic version. After 2015, GEOgraphia  with a new layout changed its periodicity from two to four times numbers per year. Since July 2020, the publication and submission processes have become continuous.}

_{This journal accepts contributions in five sections, being four from the beginning – Original Articles, Our Classics Articles –, and one from n. 41 (2017) Fundamental Concepts of Geography, encompassing knowledge thresholds and classical issues in the geographical field.}
