Muralism, graffiti and spraypainting:
potential for school transformation

This article derives from the first author's Final Course Essay and develops from the presentation of the history of muralism, graffiti and spraypainting, recognizing them as a cry of resistance in the face of social, cultural and economically imposed oppressions. Subsequently, it carries out a debate that indicates them as pedagogical tools, since they allow transcending traditional education and incorporating the Geography teaching, especially in public schools, committed to the transformation of social reality. In this direction, the pedagogical guidelines - theorical and practical - are based on paths already trodden by the first author, whose works can be known in this article. the reflections proposed here aim to provide schools, through the teaching of Geography, with the development of students by favoring their own spatial analysis and understanding of landscapes in their multiple senses and territories in their multiple agents.
