Reciprocity
It is understood that the submission of articles to be evaluated under the double-blind peer review system implies the author's commitment to respond in the most satisfactory way possible to the evaluators' observations. The PSR appreciates the effort of the academic community to contribute with its work to improve the quality of scientific production in Social Sciences in Brazil. Therefore, it will not submit to reviewers manuscripts that have received a negative opinion in another journal without the authors having made the effort to respond to the adjustments indicated in the opinions. For the same reason, the PSR reserves the freedom to reject articles whose reformulation disregards the reviewers' suggestions without reasonable justification.
Likewise, authors who submit articles to the PSR undertake, in doing so, the commitment to issue opinions. In this sense, the Editorial Committee reserves the freedom not to forward articles to the second stage of evaluation (double-blind by peers) whose authors repeatedly decline collaboration as reviewers when invited.
