UMA CONVERSA COM AÍDA DOS SANTOS – SUA HISTÓRIA E O SEU PROTAGONISMO NA CRIAÇÃO DA EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA NA UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL FLUMINENSE
Abstract
To start this conversation, I take Caputo's research (2006), to say that the
interview is a way of approaching that is based on a given reality, immersed in a certain
subject and contaminated by her own gaze. But, is that all? This author asks us. With
her, I was reflecting and expanding my conceptions to understand that “words escape
and it is not possible to imprison them to a concept”. Therefore, “the interview becomes
an experience. An experience of looking at the world and listening to the other
(CAPUTO, 2006, p.24).” Here I feel honored and grateful to share this experience with
the woman, athlete, teacher Aída dos Santos. If the experience is, as Larrosa (2002) tells
us, something that affects and transforms us, I am touched by the opportunity of this
meeting, although virtual and in difficult pandemic times, which imposes this distance
on us.
