Abstract

In addition to deaths, the pandemic brought consequences in the Brazilian educational scope.  In the Degree in Rural Education at the Federal University of Viçosa, a survey carried out with its students identified the difficulties they had with remote Education compared to other graduates of the Institution, further to post-pandemic data that reveal a high dropout rate. The article discusses such data, debating the challenges imposed on teachers and the institution in maintaining the main purpose of this Degree, which is the fight against the exclusion of people from countryside of Higher Education.
