This article presents the development, implementation, and evaluation of the educational game Missão Sistema Solar, designed as an interdisciplinary tool for teaching Science, Mathematics, History, and Geography in middle school. Grounded in active learning and gamification principles, the game uses an immersive narrative to engage students in scientific challenges, problem-solving tasks, and collaborative decision-making. The study involved 68 students and adopted a mixed-methods approach to assess its impact. Pre- and post-test results demonstrated significant improvement in students’ understanding of astronomical and interdisciplinary content. Classroom observations and interviews revealed increased motivation, active participation, and the development of socio-emotional skills such as cooperation and communication. The game proved effective in making abstract concepts more accessible and fostering meaningful learning. Findings indicate that Missão Sistema Solar is an innovative pedagogical resource with strong potential for curricular integration and for supporting the consolidation of interdisciplinary practices in basic education.
