Psychometric study of Scale Inhibition/Sexual Excitation male
Keywords:
inhibition, excitation, scale SIS/SESAbstract
The present work aims to develop a psychometric study based on the scale of inhibition / male arousal. The sample is formed by 252 male subjects, aged between 19 and 86 years and the instruments used were the Questionnaire Introductory (Nobre, 2007), the Sexual Inhibition / Sexual Excitation Scales - SIS/SES (JANSSEN et al., 2002a) and the International Index of Erectile Function - IIEF (ROSEN et al., 1999). So, the resulting data are in line of what is referred to in literature, but also that this study was possible to group the items on 3 factors, as the authors grouped in a second analysis. In addition, there are only SIS1 in significant differences in terms of sexual functioning, that is, men with erection problems aren't different from a predisposition to excite, not to hinder, and that the concerns are related to the level of performance.Downloads
