Communities and the political field: a reflection from the psychoanalysis
Keywords:
community, favelas, four discourses, political field, social psychology communityAbstract
This article reflects on the differences amongst the concepts of favela and communities and examines the implications of this differentiation for psychosocial interventions in communities. Therefore, it is a review of the concept of community and discusses the construct from the Lacanian theory of the four discourses. Our aim is to reflect over the consequences for the community psychologist and other professionals who work with that population to establish themselves as “agents” of the social link in each of the four discourses modalities. Futhermore, we propose the Discourse of the Analyst the one to which enables the political field constitution.Downloads
