From the police narrative to the noir: the new faces of narrative of violence

This article intends to, at first, describe the evolution of the detective genre, from its inception until its transformation into a new category, called noir. From this point, work the specificities of ‘black romance, their motivations and their peculiarities, set in contemporary social structure, arguing for its intrinsic relationship, violence and death. In order to illustrate this narrative construction, it uses the story “Tempestade sobre a montanha”, of Wander Antunes, an analysis paves the thematic and structural manifestations of the new genus adapted to the Brazilian reality.Downloads
