This article is devoted to the question of politicality in the late thoughts of the Hungarian philosopher, György Lukács and covers the period from 1961 to 1971 (the year of his death). It seeks to analyze the political “determinations” of the author, particularly in his work The Ontology of Social Being, where an attempt is made to clarify the more general features of his political understanding and highlight the theoretical basis and fundamental categories that underpin his reflections in this area.Downloads
