As a student he pursued studies in Physics and especially Mathematics, fields from which he drew upon to make key contributions to Political Science that stand out for their elegance and humor in tackling some of the most intriguing logical paradoxes of contemporary political behavior. Among his works are: Indeterminacy and Society, Trust and Trustworthiness, Liberalism, Constitutionalism and Democracy, and Collective Action.
