INITIAL TEACHER TRAINING IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF EXCEPTIONALITY (COVID-19) THE CASE OF THE HIGHER INSTITUTE OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION NO. 2 PROF. FEDERICO WILLIAMS DICKENS
Abstract
Abstract: The article presents part of the results of a research that analyzed the teaching practices in the Institute of Physical Education No. 2 "Professor Federico Williams Dickens" of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires during the context of the health emergency by the Covid -19 SARS-CoV-2 (2020-2021). The study sought to know the training experience that the students went through their training practices from a reflective perspective. Through surveys and interviews analysis the process of teaching practices in initial training was analyzed with a focus on its pedagogical dimension, taking into account both the process of teaching practices and the significant experiences of initial teacher training throughout the course in the teacher. This publication shows the results of the analysis of the surveys implemented on a sample of 150 students. The articulation between categories and indicators showed, in a general way, how the training experience in the pandemic was complex, challenging and with future potential to enrich the teaching-learning process through the incorporation of technological resources and tools. In the same way, the experience in the context of exceptionality was shown as an opportunity to rethink the interpersonal relationships that motivate, accompany and care for the training paths. These conclusions do not evade those who consider that what they have experienced is not related to their career and has been a waste of time, a lack of organization and a very enriching result.
