Abstract

Remote study and reproductive work (popularly known as domestic work) have become a reality imposed on students from different courses at the Federal Institute of Brasília (Instituto Federal de Brasília - IFB) at the beginning of the first semester of 2020. This imposition happened due to the World Health Organization statement warning about the accelerated growth of an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus that was spreading through different countries. The COVID-19 pandemic was then announced, and the population had to adapt to the new context. It is, therefore, on this theme that the present study develops, which is an investigation of how the new reality has impacted the students' lives, especially considering the reproductive work, regarding the students of the Technology in Management Processes (Tecnologia em Processos Gerenciais - TPG) course at the IFB. This study is of a descriptive type, which used an online form to collect data. It is expected that the results provoke new inquiries and questions, raising debates and stimulating innovative studies and research.
