Abstract

This study presents a historical overview analyzing conflitcs in the Physical Education field that culminated in the National Curricular Guidelines of 1987, 2004, 2018. Official records reveal tensions, disputes, consensuses, dissensions around the consolidation of the guidelines and the recurrent attempt to consolidate two types of training – PE Degree and Bachelor´s Degree. Interlocutors and backstage reveal the narrowing of participation in the process of elaboration and consolidation of the guidelines.
