Abstract

In this article, we seek to present some elements that make up the privatization offensive that has deepened the precariousness of teaching work in the 21st century, highlighting the issues that emerged in the pandemic’s context caused by the SARS-COV-2 virus. For education workers, coercion on teaching work was imposed by the bourgeoisie from the false dilemma between the implementation of what has been called "Remote Teaching" and the return to school activities in person before the establishment of safe conditions for this return by the state. In view of what was exposed in the article, we identified the creation of a mobile front of action composed of business organizations, supranational organizations and civil society organizations that act within the institutionalized social participation devices, with the objective of to guarantee, in any case, the advancement of the EAD modality by Basic Education both in the form of Remote Teaching, proposed for the period of social isolation, and in the hybrid form, formulated for the context of easing isolation. The consequences for teaching work materialize in precarious and intensified forms of exploitation, which makes teachers receive less for their work activities while their working time is extended, their work structure is funded by their own means, their work space transformed into a content factory. We point to teacher accountability as one of the strategies developed by this mobile front of action, in convergence with the neoliberal policies in progress, which offer conditions for the increase of teacher illness and for collective disarticulation.
