Abstract: The covid-19 pandemic has imposed social distancing on everyone, and amidst this chaos we have been interested in knowing about some possible narrative creations of a group of young children from public early childhood education in Piracicaba SP, in a forced context of virtual education. We take as the object of this article the understanding and interpretation of some children's narratives produced by the mentioned group of children, from a process of interaction and reaction to artistic propositions intentionally planned by the class teacher who is also a researcher and the Author 1 of the present work. The narratives demonstrate the particular ability of young children to direct the imagination in the process of composition and development of children's aesthetic formation in the relationship with art. We also emphasize that such artistic propositions and the reactions of this group of children were considered as source production for the doctoral research in education of Author 1.
