Environment and Health in infographic art: description of the stages of elaboration of a learning object with a CTSA focus

Abstract

The present article has the general objective to present some details of the elaboration of a Learning Object (LO) with a CTSA focus, which is part of the educational product offered to a Professional Master's program to obtain a master's degree. Therefore, the aspects to be seen in the course of this article refer to the results of the empirical-conceptual research carried out within the scope of the program. In fact, the Learning Object (LO) in question is an infographic: a text-visual language resource accepted, on grounds, as a potentially facilitating instrument in the teaching-learning processes. With the CTSA (Science-Technology-Society-Environment) focus given to the material, it was intended to correspond to the critical-humanistic teaching for contemporary times: teaching aimed at the integral formation of the individual, of the citizen from the democratization and demystification of the products of Science and Technology. It should be noted that the material on the theme Health and Environment was developed based on aspects of the operational reality of a Subsequent Technical course in Pharmacy, so that it can be useful in the technical-professional training of students in this course.
