Abstract

In the last year, individual and collective bodily practices were abruptly changed due to the health crisis resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. The closing of schools and the transition from face-to-face classes to remote learning suddenly increased the challenges for teachers. In this way, this work seeks, from an experience report of a physical education teacher who works in elementary school classes in the municipal network of Maricá, to identify some of the challenges experienced with and in emergency remote teaching. The report of pedagogical practices produced in the context of remote teaching is the initial scenario for reflections on the necessary didactic transposition so that the formal school content can be appropriated and understood by the students; to reflect on the challenges in relation to the use and mastery of technological and digital resources, requiring teachers to seek continuing education and spaces for exchange with their peers, making flexible and experimenting with different pedagogical and digital resources that are part of the challenge of maintaining teaching within the difficulties of the reality of the Brazilian public school.
