The psychological dimension of regulation at work: theoretical-conceptual survey

This paper was intended to present the result of a research stage in progress about the concept of regulation, at this moment exploring it within the area of Ergonomic Psychology and Ergonomy of the Activity. To meet the requirements of the new socio-technical systems present in the worlds of contemporary work, it aims to contribute to the development of the concept and its best use in Work and Organizational Psychology. It was discussed the introduction of the concept of regulation in the emergence of a new paradigm of work analysis, emphasizing the need for consideration in its use in the social field. There were important points of connection between some authors, especially involving the contributions of Faverge, Leplat, Theureau, Canguilhem and Schwartz.
