Abstract

This article is part of an effort to compose an analysis about the living conditions of female and male trans workers in the current context of the Covid-19 pandemic. In this process, it is important to highlight the previous difficulty of inserting transvestites, transsexual women, and transsexual men in the Brazilian labor market. And in contexts of capital crisis, intense labor exploitation and rising unemployment, the situation is even worse. With the Covid-19 pandemic there were significant changes in the lives of transgender people in Brazil, especially among those most impacted by poverty, racism, and other forms of social inequality.
