Abstract

This article analyses the conception of the systematic knowledge of fishermen from the Colon Z-16, from Cametá city (PA), articulated with the acceding challenges and school permanence, detaching interferences of the denial of this knowledge in the life of the researched subjects. It is a case study research, supported in the historical-dialectical materialism. Semi-structured interviews were used; the data analysis followed the orientation of the contents analysis. The systematic knowledge with quality is denied for the working class; the basic education public policies do not attend everyone.

Diretor da Faculdade de Educação da UFPA/Cametá. Docente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Currículo e Gestão da Escola Básica (PPEB/ICED/UFPA) e do programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação e Cultura (PPGEDUC – Campus de Cametá/UFPA).
