Abstract

PRECARIETY IN CASCADE: THE WAYS OF CONTRACT OF SUPERVISORS IN SÃO PAULO’STATE

This article discusses the labor relations adopted by the state government of São Paulo with teaching supervisors. The documentary research points to the presence of the concept forged here as “cascading precariousness”, since the position of teaching supervisor is now occupied by a designated professional, usually by a principal who, in his turn, is assigned to a teacher. In view of the scarcity of public selection for all professional segments, especially for teachers, it ends up flowing into the massive hiring of temporary teachers.
