No. 39 (2022): EDUCAÇÃO E DEMOCRACIA: PERMANÊNCIAS E TRANSFORMAÇÕES NO MUNDO CONTEMPORÂNEO
The pandemic period revealed the different exclusions that we were and still are experiencing in Brazil and in the world. In the year of 2022, in special in the educational field, we reaffirm times of many reunions, of reocupation of the phisical spaces where the experiences of teaching while learning and learning while teaching embody; strengthening the big potencial of, from a progressive point of view, live the big celebration of democracy. But in the dialectical sense which flows life, 2022 also has been a year of anguish and tensions towards the context of socio-political fraying and affront to the Carta Magna of 1988.
Education, in its institutional spaces of knowledge and doings, is constituted as a privileged field to critical exercise and opening to diversity, dealing with themes that may be excluded or destitute from the school context. The possibility to think with other person corroborates the democratic experience composed in a relational, intentional and strategic way.
