The poetic work of Sophia Mello Breyner and Dora Ferreira da Silva shows, at first, an intense reference to the Greek divinities, to a group of images who uses mythic and natural elements in order to place the man into his existential dilemma, between the cosmos eternity and its finitude. This article proposes to investigate how their work builds space and landscape and how they dialogue in order to point out similarities between these two poets work.
